What counts as a conversation?
One chat session with one visitor, however many messages go back and forth. If the same person comes back later that's a new conversation.
How much will the AI cost me?
Built-in AI is included in the price — 25 conversations a month on Free and 250 on Pro, nothing extra to pay. If you connect your own AI account instead, you pay that provider directly.
What happens when I run out of conversations?
We notify you as you get close, so there's no surprise. On Pro you can top up more conversations in a click — any you don't use carry over to the following months and are only drawn down once each month's included 250 are gone. On Free, upgrade to Pro for 250 a month. If you'd rather do neither, the chatbot keeps working but switches to taking the visitor's name and message — like a contact form — so you never lose an enquiry, and your included allowance resets at the start of your next month.
What's a "seat"?
A seat is one person on your team who can log in to watch conversations and reply live. The chatbot itself runs for every visitor regardless of seats — you only add seats for the humans who want to step in. Pro comes with 1 seat; extra seats are £6† / month on monthly billing or £60† / year on annual, and if you add one part-way through a billing period you're only charged for the time remaining.
Can I cancel?
Any time. The free plan stays free for as long as you want it. Pro is billed monthly or annually — when you cancel, Pro keeps running until the end of the month or year you've paid for, then your account moves to Free.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes. Email hello@deskee.io and we'll switch it for you.
Is VAT added?
No. The price you see is the price you pay.
